Breaking Free

I woke up six in the morning and a warm breakfast greeted me in the kitchen. thanks to my mom! Anyway, i’ve been enjoying my break from school. maybe because I was stressed of trying to beat deadlines. Today’s the eighteenth of October 2007, and I’m stuck betwwen the choices of going back home and find a nice place to sleep into, or continue my business of blogging, which i really find so interesting.. hahaha..

First things first.. I’ve been thinking of trying to earn a living. I’m just a junior college student, still trying to make it through.. financially broke.. <SIGH!> I wonder how I’ll enroll myself this coming semester. I’m busy with my orgs this break, and I’m considering trying it out in an agency offering tutorials to Koreans wanting to learn basic English.

I want to be exposed to what it is like to live in the real world. Earning my own money. Making my own decisions. I’m already 19, but i’m still very dependent in my parents. I can’t blame them though. They were just being protective of their beloved daughter. But a part of me is saying i have to break free and learn on my own.

Nah! I’ve already passed the stage of teenagers trying to rebel and gain their sought-after freedom. All i really want is to learn from my decisions. lately, i realized I don’t know what i really like for my self. I’m not being decisive of what path to take. I’m not blaming anyone. I just want to realize what i really want to do with myself.

I want to make a course of action and be responsible of my decisions. If I came out right, Ill be more happier to say that this consequence is of my own choice. If I’m wrong, I’ll be more than willing to learn from it. I want to be treated like an adult. Not like a pitiful chick hiding beneath her mother hen’s wings.
